Candelaria - 08.02.2010 - The religious commemoration was due to be held on Candelaria (Candelmas) Day on 2 February but had to be called off due to the storms. Designated a public holiday in Tenerife a few years ago, the Day replaces the traditional celebration of Candelaria in mid-August.
